City Council Minutes <br />January 4, 2011 <br />Page 6 of 13 <br />----------------------------- <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />SANITARY SEWER MAINTENANCE POLICY AND THE SANITARY <br />SEWER EMERGENCY RESPONSE POLICY. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.3. Resolution to Cancel No Fault Sewer Insurance <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 11- <br />02 ELIMINATING THE CITY'S NO FAULT SEWER COVERAGE. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.4. Government Drive Discussion <br />Mike Loven, addressed the Council regarding the condition of Government <br />Drive. He noted that the street is in poor condition and stated that the <br />Council should look at either a temporary repair or a permanent fix. Tim <br />Houle stated that this will be a public process to determine what exactly <br />the City wants to accomplish with Government Drive. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN PHASE <br />OF GOVERNMENT DRIVE. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Discussion was held regarding not having the engineer design the project <br />until a committee determines exactly what needs to be done. <br />MAYOR ADAMS WITHDREW HER MOTION. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />MALECHA WITHDREW HER SECOND. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO FORM A COMMITTEE TO WORK WITH <br />PROPERTY OWNERS, ENGINEERS, CITY STAFF AND COUNCIL TO <br />DETERMINE WHAT THE DESIGN WORK SHOULD INCLUDE AND <br />WHAT THE FUTURE OF GOVERNMENT DRIVE WILL ENTAIL. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.5. Bobber Water Tower Liqht <br />� <br />--. <br />Mike informed the Council that the Chamber has been notified about the <br />lighting on the water tower. Ruth Ann, Chamber of Commerce, explained <br />that the Chamber has spent a lot of money on the lighting in the last few <br />--- <br />years.
