� <br />City Council Minutes <br />July 2, 2013 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />is required. Tim Houle explained to the Council that a proposal was <br />presented to the Council in 2004. He noted that at that time the Council <br />took no action. Mr. Houle questioned whether the Council would want to <br />enter into a proposal for services to prepare a facility study. He noted that <br />the cost would be $33,600 which is the same price that was presented to <br />the Council in 2004. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO ACCEPT A PROPOSAL FROM WSN TO <br />COMPLETE A FACILITY STUDY AT $33,600. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.4. Turnback Process <br />Tim Houle explained that he is working with staff on the road turnbacks <br />related to the Highway 371 expansion. He indicated that a committee has <br />met and identified the roads that may be turned back to the City. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO <br />CONTINUE WORKING WITH WSN TO IDENTIFY THE ROADWAY <br />TURNBACKS AND ISSUES RELATING TO THE TURNBACKS AND TO <br />ASSIST WITH THE NEGOTIATING PROCESS ON THE TURNBACKS. <br />� COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.5. Resolution of Support for State Bond Funds <br />Tim Houle indicated that the City has submitted an application for request <br />of State Bond Funds for 2014. The request is for funding to replace the <br />wastewater treatment facility spray irrigation field equipment. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 13- <br />17 IN SUPPORT OF THE CITY'S REQUEST FOR STATE BOND <br />FUNDS. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />10.1. Citv Council Bi-weeklv Reports —(Pequot Points) <br />The Clerk noted that Department Heads have been sending out a bi- <br />weekly report to the Council since February 2013. The Clerk questioned <br />whether the Council feels the reports are beneficial and whether they <br />would prefer receiving them on a monthly basis rather than a bi-weekly <br />basis. The Council Members commented that they did read the Pequot <br />Points and found them to be very informative. <br />� COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED THAT THE PEQUOT POINTS <br />BE SENT OUT ON A MONTHLY BASIS DURING THE MIDDLE OF <br />
