AUTHORIZATION FOR PEQUOT LAKES COMMUNITY LIBRARY <br />TO DONATE ALL DISCARDED MATERIALS TO FRIENDS OF <br />THE PEQUOT LAKES COMMUNITY LIBRARY <br />COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br />4. Open Forum <br />There was no one present for Open Forum. <br />5. Presentations <br />5.1. Wellhead Public Hearinq <br />Dawn Bittner explained that the wellhead protection plan was presented <br />and discussed at the May 7th Council meeting. She noted that the formal <br />public hearing was scheduled for this evening. <br />� Mayor Adams opened the public hearing. There being no one for or <br />against the matter, Mayor Adams closed the public hearing. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO SEND THE WELLHEAD <br />PROTECTION PLAN TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH <br />FOR FINAL REIVEW AND APPROVAL. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />5.2. Update by Sheriff Dahl <br />Presentation canceled by Sheriff Dahl. <br />6.1 Consider Applications for Planninq Commission <br />Three applications were received from Tom Adams, John Derksen, and <br />Bill Habein. Mayor Adams recommended appointment Bill Habein to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPOINT BILL HABEIN TO THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION WITH THE TERM TO RUN THROUGH <br />12/31/2014. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />6.2. Planninq Commission Report <br />
