Arlen Sergent. Parcel <br /> #290271402A00009. <br /> Mr. Sergent was present. He stated that Dan Helbling would speak for him. Mr. <br /> Helbling requested that this be tabled until later in the meeting. It could be called at New <br /> Business 7. e. <br /> APPLICANT: City of Pequot Lakes. <br /> Applicants requests rezoning from Wooded Residential to Transition Residential. Chris <br /> Greer. Parcel#'s 290113200AAD009, 290113200D00009, 290113200AAC009 and <br /> 290113200000889. <br /> Steve Qualley, attorney at law, was present presenting Mr. Greer. Mr. Marohn explained <br /> the Staff Report. He stated that there could be an additional option. Parcel C could be <br /> rezoned to Urban Residential and the rest Transition Residential. <br /> `-' Mr. Qualley stated that Mr. Greer requests Parcel C and AAC be rezoned to Urban <br /> Residential. There are buildings on Parcel C and it does not meet the minimum lot size in <br /> Transition Residential and could be sold as a separate lot. He also stated Urban <br /> Residential is compatible with Transition Residential and not with Rural Residential. He <br /> also stated that Mr. Greer understands the PUD process in Transition Residential. <br /> The letter from Curt and Jackie Cogan was read into the Minutes. The letter stated that <br /> they are against Urban Residential. Rural Residential fits with what they want to do. The <br /> Cogan's can continue their boarding kennel in either Rural Residential or Transition <br /> Residential. They would be allowed 2 horses either way. <br /> The Commission asked if the roads to these parcels are up to City Standards. They are <br /> not. There are no roads on the back side of the lots and no internal streets. There is no <br /> water/wastewater on these parcels in order to zone Urban Residential. <br /> There are no current plans to develop at Urban Residential density. Development tools <br /> are in place to develop at 2 units per acre. <br /> Comments were closed. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Bill Habein,to recommend all four <br /> parcels be zoned Transition Residential,based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> Planning Commission 2 <br /> October 20,2005 <br />
