MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OCTOBER 20,2005 <br /> PRESENT: Bill Habein, Dean Williams, Tom Woog, Roger Varilek and Scott Pederson. <br /> ABSENT: Tom Adams, Mark Hallan and John Derksen. <br /> CITY PLANNER: Charles Marohn, PE. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Dawn Bittner. <br /> COUNCIL LIAISON: Dave Sjoblad. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Tom Woog, Commission Chair, at 6:35 p.m. <br /> JOHN DERKSEN ARRIVED AT 6:37. <br /> WILDERNESS POINT DEVELOPMENT UPDATE: <br /> David Reese, Project Engineer, WSN and Chad Connor, WSN, were in attendance <br /> representing the developer. Conditional Use Permit conditions: <br /> 1. The erosion control plan was passed out. There will be 12 separate sedimentation <br /> `-► basins. Mr. Marohn stated that Tim Houle,the City Engineer,will have <br /> comments for the next meeting. Trails will be made of sand and wood chips to <br /> help filter stormwater before reaching shoreline and wetland. The stormwater <br /> permit has not been applied for. Area behind cabins 7— 11 is a steep slope and <br /> will be maintained except for 50 foot buffer from wetland. Behind cabin 7 & 12, <br /> the Commission advised no mowing—use vegetation to filter. <br /> (MARK HALLAN ARRIVED AT 6:51) <br /> 2. SWCD has inspected. <br /> 3. A 1-4 is included in documents. The City Attorney is reviewing them. <br /> Everything has been submitted for Final Plat. <br /> 4. Sewage treatment plan submitted and City Engineer forwarding comments. <br /> 5. Bond—will prepare cost estimate and incorporate into Bond. <br /> 6. Sewage treatment system has not been installed. City will be notified. <br /> 7. This information will be included in the packets next month. Mr. Marohn will <br /> look at early next week. <br /> 8. Building standards—development will adhere to City standards. <br /> 9. Any changes to the Association will be made after City Attorney comments. <br /> 10.NPDES permit—they wanted feedback from Commission prior to submittal. <br /> 11.
