The property is properly zoned Rural Residential, and a Type IV Home <br /> Occupation is listed as a conditional use in this zone. <br /> 2. The Comprehensive Plan indicates that the intersection of Wild Acres <br /> Road and Evenson Road should be realigned since the intersection is <br /> currently skewed. Increased traffic from the proposed use could <br /> potentially create safety issues at this intersection. <br /> 3. The proposed use is compatible with the surrounding neighborhood, as <br /> the property directly to the east of the applicants' is zoned agricultural <br /> and contains an accessory structure and other properties are rural in <br /> character, and some contain accessory structures. Other businesses <br /> are located in nearby including a barber/salon about 3/ mile from the <br /> property, a day care on Evenson Road, and Anderson Brothers about <br /> 2 miles from the property. There are few residential structures in the <br /> area. <br /> 4. The proposed use has the potential to be injurious to public safety <br /> because of an increase in traffic at Wild Acres Road and Evenson <br /> Road. This intersection was identified in the Comprehensive Plan as <br /> being in need of realignment due to the skewing of the intersection. <br /> 5. The proposed use will not be injurious to the use and enjoyment of <br /> other properties in the vicinity as the majority of business-related <br /> activities will be performed off-site. Employees will enter in the <br /> morning to pickup equipment and work off-site for the remainder of the <br /> `, day, excepting any office employees to field phone calls. <br />
