Box 504 Cloquet, MN 55720 Re: City of Pequot Lakes Potential Ordinance Violation PIN: 290144300000009 Dear Sirs: It has come to our attention through a complaint that you are likely in violation of the City's Ordinances regarding Exterior Storage. The Ordinance states, in Section 7.5.LA, Exterior Storage,that "There shall be no exterior storage allowed on lots that do not contain a principle or accessory structure. " The Ordinance further states,in Section 7.6.1,Visual Standards—Screening,that "No use shall create, maintain or continue any activity or structure which has a strong negative visual impact or offends the morals or violates the standards of the City. " The Ordinance further states, in Section 7.2.U,Wastes,that "The accumulation, storage, processing, and disposal of waste on any premises, which is not generated on that premises, is prohibited. . . " Although I have not inspected your property,I have been provided with the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately depict the condition of your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of these provisions of the Ordinance. As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the Ordinance, we would like the opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. We are requesting that by no later than September 26,2005,you remove or properly store all exterior storage from this property.
