In the Residential districts, lawn must <br /> be maintained and mowed. If grass is allowed to grow to a height of 6 inches or more, <br /> the City may contract to have it mowed and the owner will be charged for the costs <br /> incurred. " <br /> The Ordinance further states, in Section 70.030, that, "Passenger vehicles and trucks in <br /> an inoperative state due to age, damage or malfunction shall not be parked outside in a <br /> residential district for a period exceeding seven days; inoperative shall mean incapable <br /> of movement under its own power and in need of repair or junking, and shall include <br /> unlicensed vehicles and vehicles incapable of legal movement on public roads. " <br /> I have been to your property and taken the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately <br /> depict the condition of your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of <br /> these two provisions of the Ordinance. <br /> As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the Ordinance,we would like the <br /> opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. We are requesting that by no <br /> later than June 14,2005,you mow your grass and maintain a neat yard for the <br /> remainder of the season. In addition,we are requesting that by no later than June <br />
