In the Residential districts, lawn must
be maintained and mowed. If grass is allowed to grow to a height of 6 inches or more,
the City may contract to have it mowed and the owner will be charged for the costs
incurred. "
The Ordinance further states, in Section 70.030, that, "Passenger vehicles and trucks in
an inoperative state due to age, damage or malfunction shall not be parked outside in a
residential district for a period exceeding seven days; inoperative shall mean incapable
of movement under its own power and in need of repair or junking, and shall include
unlicensed vehicles and vehicles incapable of legal movement on public roads. "
I have been to your property and taken the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately
depict the condition of your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of
these two provisions of the Ordinance.
As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the Ordinance,we would like the
opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. We are requesting that by no
later than June 14,2005,you mow your grass and maintain a neat yard for the
remainder of the season. In addition,we are requesting that by no later than June
