Mr. Lindholm <br />��complete the survey. <br />Service <br />Chair Jurchen and Commissioner Stroot reported on a meeting they attended with <br />Bob Perkins of TDS. Bill Stroot reported the following: TDS had received a grant <br />for $5,000,000 for the construction of broadband technology. The construction <br />has been accomplished in 2013 and 90% of the customers now have access to <br />some form of broadband. TDS is using the technology of copper to get the <br />broadband to the home. The customer can get 5 mg. of band width to the home <br />and up to 25 mg. depending on how far the home is from the mode. The bottom <br />line is that broadband is available to anyone who wants it in Pequot Lakes. <br />Discussion was held regarding whether the cost was affordable to hook up. It was <br />determined that it was affordable. It was suggested that TDS should consider <br />
