City of <br />Pequot <br />Lakes _ _ <br />AGENDA ITEM #9.5 <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Report Prepared by: Tim Houle, City Engineer <br />Date: February 3, 2014 <br />Subiect: City Engineer Update <br />Report: Tim Houle will not be at the Council meeting but he has <br />submitted an informational report for Council review. <br />Highway 371 <br />We have not heard from County Engineer Tim Bray yet on when they <br />want to talk about the City's initial negotiation table / documents on <br />proposed turnbacks. We do have a meeting with them on February 7 on <br />another client's project, and I will try to see what the status is at that <br />time. <br />WWTF Facility Plan <br />I reviewed our progress on the Facility Plan with Mike and Dave. The <br />MPCA does not want these done "every year", and while one <br />component might be the focus, they want the City to look at their whole <br />system and to look at it from a longer-term perspective. Thus, there is a <br />lot of information that goes into a Facility Plan. In February, I will be <br />getting with the MPCA on some criteria for some options, and will be <br />getting some information from Lee Bundy in the month coming up. <br />What the MPCA says will impact how soon we can get a completed <br />
