ORDINANCE NO. 14-03, SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING THE DEFINITION OF BUILDING HEIGHT <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 <br /> of the Pequot Lakes City Code regarding the definition of"building height." <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 4.4 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 17-3.2. DEFINITIONS <br /> 45. Building Height. The vertical distance between the average highest <br /> adjoining ground level adjoining at the building or ten (10) feet above the <br /> lowest ground level, whichever is lower, and the highest point of a flat <br /> roof or average height between the eaves and the highest ridge of gable, <br /> hip or gambrel roofs or ten feet below the peak, whichever is greater. <br /> Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect following its passage and publication. <br /> Adopted by the City Council this 3rd day of June, 2014. <br /> NancyAMns, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra Peine, City Clerk <br /> Publication Date: June 12, 2014 <br /> VOTE: Adams - Ave Akerson - Absent Gardner-Ave Pederson - Aye <br /> Sjoblad--Aye <br />
