Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. February Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month <br /> by the Zoning Department: <br /> 1. BLMM, LLC, 30713 Highway 371, for a sign; <br /> 2. Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union, 30483 State Highway 371, for a sign. <br /> *** Permit applications through February, 2012 are 5, compared with 7 for 2011, 6 <br /> for 2010, 0 for 2009, 7 for 2008, 10 for 2007, 14 for 2006, 12 for 2005 and 14 for <br /> 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. February 9 letter to MN/DOT regarding proposed subdivision at animal shelter; <br /> 2. February 9 letter to Thomas Cambre, attorney for animal shelter, regarding <br /> subdivision application; <br /> 3. February 13 letter to Tom and Toni Fleck regarding Planning Commission <br /> interpretation; <br /> 4. February 15 letter to Wayne Fjerstad and Pam Benson regarding 60-day letter; <br /> 5. February 22 letter to Todd Tolifson, Rose City Sign, regarding 60-day letter; <br /> 6. February 23 letter to Gary Peterson regarding metes and bounds subdivision; <br /> 7. March 1 letter to Ryanland Properties LLC regarding violation on Lower Cullen <br /> Lake; <br /> 8. March 8 letter to Heather Becker, Crow Wing County Land Services Dept., <br /> regarding tax forfeit parcel. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is <br /> currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will <br /> report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> (10/06) <br /> ➢ Peterson, Gary—Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA <br /> and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) <br /> ➢ Kristine Sivanich—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles.
