cy of
AGENDA ITEM #9.3
Pe uot
q
La.kes — -_
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: Nancy Malecha
Date: November 7, 2017
Sub_iect: Shared Roads Plan Update
Report: At the September Sth City Council Meeting, the
Council directed Mayor Adams, Mike Loven, and I to
begin discussions with Loon Lake Township for a shared
road improvement plan for North Sluetter and Myers
Roads. On October 24th, a meeting was held between City
and Township representatives to discuss improvements to
these two roads. Loon Lake Township representatives
stated the following.
• Myers Road is a priority for the Township due to the
increase in traffic because of the new Highway 371
alignment. Improvements they would like to see on
this Road include a bituminous surface, the cutting
down of the hill, and the softening of the curve on the
north end.
