AGENDA ITEM #10.02 <br />Ci ty of <br />PequOt <br />Lakes _ _ <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Report by: Sandy Peine, City Clerk <br />Date: January 7, 2014 <br />Sub_iect: Annual Appointments and Council Liaisons <br />Report: Annual appointments are made by the Mayor with <br />approval by the Council. The following is the list of <br />appointments recommended by the Mayor. <br />"Personnel Committee" is a new category. Last year the <br />Personnel and Job Evaluation Committee were combined. The <br />Mayor is proposing to separate these two. <br />Personnel Committee would be responsible for reviewing <br />personnel issues, job descriptions and make wage <br />recommendations. <br />The Job Evaluation Committee would continue to review job <br />classifications and assign job points with a goal of keeping the <br />City into compliance with the pay equity law. <br />Council Action Requested: Council motion authorizing the <br />recommended appointments. <br />
