AGENDA ITEM #10.01 <br />City of <br />Pequot <br />Lakes _ _ <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Report Prepared by: Nancy Malecha <br />Date: January 7, 2014 <br />Subiect: Equipment Certificate for Snowplow/Dump Truck <br />Report: Mike Loven has received pricing for the <br />snowplow/dump truck through the State of Minnesota <br />Purchasing Cooperative. Because the vehicle will be <br />purchased through this Cooperative, we are not required to go <br />out for bids as this bid process has already been taken care of. <br />The total amount of this truck will be approximately $193,000 <br />which includes the cost of the vehicle, motor vehicle sales tax, <br />licensing, and bond counsel legal fees. We will be sending out <br />an offering terms note to all four of our local banks. This will <br />allow them to bid on the general obligation equipment <br />certificate to finance this vehicle for the City for five years. <br />The results of these bids will be presented to the City Council <br />in February. <br />Council Action Requested: No council action requested. <br />
