Zoning Administrator's Report A. October Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC, 6316 Wilderness Road, for the Amenities Building. *** Permit applications through October, 2011 are 52, compared with 60 for 2010, 67 for 2009, 92 for 2008, 111 for 2007, 106 for 2006, 139 for 2005 and 137 for 2004! B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: 1. October 25 letter to Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC, regarding restored beach; 2. October 26 letter to Mr. and Mrs. Link regarding violation resolution; 3. October 26 letter to Lonesome Real Estate regarding septic compliance inspection; 4. October 26 letter to Carol Painter regarding CUP approval; 5. October 27 memo to the Park Board regarding Field of Dreams; 6. November 1 letter to Ed Marsolek regarding Heritage House sign; 7. November 4 letter to David Koblas regarding violation. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. (10/06) ➢ Peterson, Gary—Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) ➢ Thomas and Janice Link—Constructed garage in side yard setback. The Storm Water Management Plan has been implemented. We consider this matter resolved. (6/08) ➢ Kristine Sivanich—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Staff will continue to monitor.
