The subject property is 1 acre in size and is in the <br /> Commercial Zoning District. <br /> The property owner was recently granted a sign permit for a 40 sq. ft. wall sign at the <br /> main entrance to the building (east side) and a 24 sq. ft. two sided (12 sq. ft./per side), <br /> free standing monument sign on the east side of the property near Highway 371. <br /> The proposed wall sign is black and green in color and reads "MidMinnesota Federal <br /> Credit Union". It measures 3.99' x 9.82' (39-18 sq. ft.) and will be located on the north <br /> side of the existing structure, facing the driveway entrance to the property. The <br /> proposed sign will be visible to southbound traffic on Highway 371 and patrons of the <br /> adjacent SuperValu grocery store. The proposed sign is non-lighted and is made of non- <br /> petroleum based plastics and is LEED certified. <br /> Applicable Regulations:The following regulations apply to this property: <br /> Section 17-5.10 COMMERCIAL (C) <br /> 3.
