The County would like a response from <br /> the City on these two tracts on classifying them as "Non-Conservation"and for the future <br /> sale of the lots. <br /> The two lots in question are located in the Pequot Shady Shores subdivision. Please refer <br /> to the map below for locations. <br /> at <br /> waRa.u« <br /> 15 <br /> « � � �!z�i�l ��, +► <br /> Property 2 <br /> M AV <br /> ..�wuauna. <br /> Planning Commission Direction: The Planning Commission should discuss the two <br /> lots and make a recommendation as to whether or not Crow Wing County may proceed <br /> with its plans to offer the tracts for sale. The Planning Commission can either <br /> recommend that the City Council approve the classification and intended sale or <br /> recommend the City Council not support the proposal. <br /> If the County Board is not notified of a disapproval within 6o days of the date the <br /> notification letter (June 8, 2011) they will be considered approved. If the City responds <br /> with a disapproval within 6o days the County Board will withhold the parcels from <br /> public sale for six months to give the City time to consider acquisition of the parcels. <br /> Staff Recommendation: Both of the subject properties are located within the Urban <br /> Residential Zoning District. Staff has reviewed the best available data on these <br /> properties and finds nothing that would prohibit their development for the uses as <br /> zoned.
