CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA <br /> CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 14-20 <br /> A RESOLUTION BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES,MINNESOTA,APPROVING A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH RIGHT-OF- <br /> WAY IN PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes (the "City") owns real property described as "OUTLOT <br /> A, PEQUOT LAKES INDUSTRIAL PARK", (as the"Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the Minnesota Department of Transportation's project to reroute <br /> Minnesota Highway 371, the City finds that a part of the Property is needed for a <br /> public right-of-way, such part being legally described as follows: <br /> • That part of the Outlot A, Pequot Lakes Industrial Park, <br /> lying Northerly of a line, 80 feet southerly and parallel with <br /> the North line of said Outlot <br /> (the"new Right-of-Way"); and <br /> WHEREAS, a depiction of the Property and the New Right-of-Way is attached hereto as <br /> Appendix A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City finds that dedication of the new Right-of-Way is consistent with Pequot <br /> Lakes Ordinances and Plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, the new Right-of-Way will be depicted on Minnesota Department of <br /> Transportation Right-of-Way Plat No. 18-111. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> THAT the Pequot Lakes City Council hereby dedicates the new Right-of-Way, as legally <br /> described above,to the public as road and utility right-of-way. <br /> Dated this 2"d day of September, 2014 <br /> Nancy Adwig <br /> Mayor <br /> Sandy Peine <br /> Pequot Lakes City Clerk <br /> 1 <br />
