The City Administrator and I met with the Loon Lake Township <br /> Roads Supervisor Rick Wilson on May 27t'' to discuss and finalize this Agreement. <br /> This process began late last fall and was offered initially to the Township for <br /> review and comment in December of 2019. Despite repeated initiations on our <br /> part we were unable to get participation and an agreement until recently. <br /> The amended version is attached with changes noted in red. We believe this is an <br /> improvement and most equitable in our eyes as far as expenditures, <br /> responsibilities, and maintenance needs. <br /> Road Responsibilities Summer Winter <br /> City of Pequot Lakes 234,300 sq. ft. (+8%) 210,300 sq. ft. <br /> Loon Lake Township 201,640 sq. ft. 226,000 sq. ft. (+4%) <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion approving the 2020-2024 Amended <br /> Public Works Joint Powers Agreement with Loon Lake Township as presented. <br />
