City of AGENDA ITEM #5.3 <br /> Pequott <br /> L TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: March 3, 2009 <br /> Subject: Budget Cuts <br /> Report: At the February 3rd Council meeting, the Council <br /> directed staff to make every effort to cut 5% from <br /> �-' department budgets. This was due to the budget cuts that <br /> the City received from the State of Minnesota. The City has <br /> been notified that as of this time, there will be a reduction <br /> in Local Government Aid (LGA) in the amount of$78,870. <br /> Staff has made the requested cuts in the amount of$78,870. <br /> See attached 2009 proposed budget amendments. The <br /> Council should review these cuts and be prepared to decide <br /> if these cuts are acceptable. <br /> Council Action Requested: <br /> 1.
