Call Meetina to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> Dawn Bittner added the Mayo Lake Nature Preserve as item 8, Comprehensive <br /> Plan as item 9, and Chair Ronning added a letter from Haley Perkins. <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> AMENDED. COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. THE ' <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. � <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE MAY 10, 2018 <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Meetinq Procedures <br /> Chair Ronning asked Dawn Bittner to have this as an agenda item at the next <br /> meeting. He stated that all have to abide by the procedures and keep side <br /> conversations to a minimum and only one individual speak at a time. <br /> 5. Recreational Needs Assessment <br /> Molly Zins 8� Janet Hennies, representing the Quality of Life Task Force and the <br /> Hiking, Biking and Trail Committee with the Thriving Communities Initiative, <br /> addressed the Commission. Ms. Hennies explained the tasks they have been <br /> assigned and are currently working on. The tasks include focusing on year round <br /> recreational activities, utilizing existing facilities, preserving our natural resources, <br /> and connecting with the community. Activities they researched were ice rinks, <br /> sledding hills, a skate park and cross country skiing. Other goals Ms. Hennies <br /> spoke about were utilizing our community activities and facilities and <br />
