PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2018 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Ronning, Commissioners Bryan, Graham, Johnson, Jurchen, <br /> Nagel, and Sjoblad <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Specialist <br /> 1. Call Meetinq to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Aaenda <br /> Dawn Bittner added the Comprehensive Plan Update and the Dog Park to the <br /> agenda. Chair Ronning added the Bird City Meeting, the Quality of Life Task <br /> Force information, and Pequot Lakes Needs Assessment. <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> AMENDED. COMMISSIONER GRAHAM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> Chair Ronning stated that on item # 7 Skatepark— Update that he was not asked <br /> by Nancy Malecha to get a biddable blueprint for the Skatepark, he was asked to , <br /> get an estimate for the management fees from Spohn Ranch. Also, Roundabout I <br /> Landscaping Committee met with MN/Dot finrice, not several times. <br /> COMMISSIONER GRAHAM MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 8, 2018 <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. Disc Golf Course - Discussion <br /> Chair Ronning spoke about the email the City Hall received regarding installing a <br /> Disc Golf Course in Pequot Lakes. Dawn Bittner did state that the City of Breezy <br /> Point has a Disc Golf Course. Commissioner Johnson explained how the game <br /> of Disc Golf actually works. Chair Ronning asked Commissioner Johnson to <br /> follow up with the City of Breezy Point and he will report his findings at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> 5. Park Expansion and Traffic Concems <br />
