MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION/ <br /> BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> FEBRUARY i5, 2oi8 <br /> PRESENT: Mark Hallan (Chair), Mark Mortenson, Nathan Norton, Brian Wallin (Vice- <br /> Chair), and Wesley Wilson. ABSENT: Andrew Birch and Douglas Leckband. <br /> CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie, NJPA <br /> ZONING SPECIALIST: Dawn Bittner <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:0o PM by Chair Hallan. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Mortenson, <br /> seconded by Planning Commission Member Wilson,to ogen the Public <br /> Hearings. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> APPLICANT: Cynthia Hidde, on behalf of Charles B. Peterson <br /> Applicant requests to Rezone from Forest Management to Rural Residential <br /> and Commercial <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. Applicant was represented by Tom Peterson. <br /> Mr. Burslie noted the i5 Findings of Fact and stated the request is consistent with the <br /> Rural Residential and Commercial zones. Each of the requested rezone areas are <br /> adjacent to other Rural Residential and Commercial properties. <br /> Mr. Burslie pointed out the northern portion of Tract B had been rezoned by the County <br /> prior to the City having jurisdiction. The parcel was multiple zones when annexed by <br /> the City. <br /> Chair Hallan noted the property is one parcel with three zoning classifications, Forest <br /> Management, Rural Residential and Commercial. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT OPENED: <br /> Timothy Siegel, �6T7 Banning Way, Inver Grove Heights, MN—Mr. Siegel inquired if <br /> this parcel is adjacent to his property.
