Receivable A G R E E M E N T <br /> $ 24 50.00 <br /> THIS AGREELENT made and entered into by and between the State of <br /> narnC Afros0 <br /> 037 r i r l Minnesota, acting through its Commissioner of Highways, hereinafter referred <br /> to as the "State", and the Village of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, hereinafter <br /> referred to as the "City", v'ITNESSETH t <br /> WdEREAS, it is considered mutually desirable to place traffic- <br /> control signals at the intersection of }lain Street and Trunk Highway No. 371, <br /> in the Village of Pequot Lakes, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The State shall install or cause to be installed traffic-control <br /> signals at the above location in accordance with plans and specifications <br /> prepared by the State. <br /> 2. The actual total cost of the installation of the traffic-control <br /> signals at the above location shall be shared equally by the Village and the <br /> State. It is estimated that the cost of installation will be 05,500.00. The <br /> Village agrees that upon the completion of the installation of said traffic- • <br /> control signals, in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore <br /> referred to, it will reimburse the t.tate in an amount equal to one-half of the <br /> actual cost of the installation. <br /> 3. Upon the completion of the work contemplated herein, the Village <br /> will maintain and keep in repair said installations and provide necessary <br /> electrical power for their operation, all at the Village's sole cost and <br /> expense. In addition the Village shall provide at its own expense extensions <br /> for power supply in the event of necessity. <br /> u. All timing of said signals shall be determined by the State, through <br /> its Commissioner of Highways, and no changes therein shall be made except with <br /> the approval of the State. <br /> 5. The Village shall prohibit all unlawful parking and all gasoline <br /> pumps and advertising signs on the right of way of any Trunk Highway within the <br /> limits of the Village of Pequot Lakes. <br /> 6. The Village indemnifies, saves and holds harmless the State and all <br /> of its agents and employees of and from any and all claims, demands, actions or <br /> • <br />
