Noren introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> Roy A. Luukkonen, Crow Wing County Auditor, is authorized to submit an <br /> application for a voting equipment grant on behalf of the City of Pequot <br /> Lakes. <br /> This application must be completed in accordance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes 2048.48, and submitted in accordance with the instructions <br /> . provided by the Secretary of State and the Department of Administration. <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes pledges to appropriate and expend funds in an <br /> amount sufficient to match any grant awarded as a result of this <br /> — application and, in a timely manner, to implement the election <br /> administrator training and voter education schedule set forth in the <br /> application. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Council member G. Welu , and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> J. Noren, G. Welu, J. Thompson, J.
