SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PARK BOARD <br /> THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2006 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Anderson, Board Members Tweed, Jurchen and <br /> Samuelson <br /> Members Absent: Board Member Koslofsky <br /> Staff Present: Mayor Malecha; Sandy Peine, City Clerk <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Anderson called the meeting together at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Park Board Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER SAMUELSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER <br /> 12, 2006 PARK BOARD MINUTES. COMMISSIONER TWEED <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Bobber Park Update <br /> Chair Anderson informed the commissioners that the concrete has not <br /> been poured and probably won't be done until spring. Discussion was held <br /> regarding the concepts for the park that were drawn by the school <br /> students. The Mayor suggested trying to incorporate all of the ideas that <br /> were presented. It was the consensus of the commissioners to talk to <br /> Lonesome Cottage about the chair and to talk to the school representative <br /> to see if the students would build the boat. <br /> 4. Holiday Lights <br /> The commissioners scheduled a date to put up the lights in the park. <br /> 5. December Meeting <br /> COMMISSIONER JURCHEN MOVED TO CANCEL THE DECEMBER <br /> PARK BOARD MEETING. COMMISSIONER TWEED SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />
