PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING&ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING,TUESDAY,NOVEMBER 18,1997 <br /> The regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order by <br /> Chairman M. Jurchen on Tuesday, November 18, 1997 at 6:40 p.m. at the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Hall. Roll call: M. Jurchen; J. Thompson; G. Jenson; G. Welu and F. Martinson present. <br /> Absent none. <br /> Motion by G. Welu and seconded by J. Thompson to approve the minutes of the Public Hearing, <br /> September 2, 1997 as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by F. Martinson and <br /> seconded by J. Thompson to approve the remainder of the minutes from previous meetings as <br /> presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Chairman M. Jurchen reported that he had spoken with Sherry Parker of NSP about relocating to <br /> the Industrial Park. She explained that they had run out of space in the area their office is located <br /> at currently and are looking for a more northern location but that it is a long process to relocate. <br /> M. Jurchen will keep in contact with her. <br /> The Secretary reported that M. Jurchen and G. Jenson terms expire 12/31/97. The Commission <br /> requested T. Russell to run an advertisement in the newspaper inviting interested persons to <br /> contact city hall. <br /> The Commission agreed after reviewing Section 8.20 that the following categories should be <br /> added to the list: <br /> Computers and Electronic Components, Assembly and Manufacturing <br /> Computers, Consulting <br /> Computers, Sales and Service <br /> Telecommunications,Assembly and Manufacturing <br /> Telecommunications, Consulting <br /> Telecommunications, Sales and Service <br /> Telemarketing <br /> Electrical Supplies, Sales and Service <br /> Electrical <br /> Fireplace, Sales and Installation <br /> Plumbing <br /> Masonry, Supplies and Sales <br /> Masonry, Construction and Repair <br /> Musical, Sales and Services <br /> Micro Brewery <br /> Pet Grooming <br /> Candy Manufacturing <br /> Funeral, Parlor, Mortuary, Crematory <br /> Dance, Hall and Studio <br /> It was suggested that the Commission review copies of Eden Prairie and Eagan's ordinances. <br /> Discussion will continue on section 8.20 classifications at the next meeting. <br />
