PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING&ZONING COMMISSION <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SEPTEMBER 30, 1997 <br /> The Pequot Lakes Planning & Zoning Commission public hearing was called to order by <br /> Chairman M. Jurchen on Tuesday, September 30, 1997 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pequot Lakes <br /> City Hall. Roll call: M. Jurchen; J. Thompson; G. Jenson; G. Welu and F. Martinson <br /> present. Absent none. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to receive public input on Earl Hemmerich's conditional <br /> use permit application. <br /> The Zoning Administrator did not receive any correspondence or phone calls on this <br /> matter. <br /> Earl Hemmerich presented his request to move a building he has purchased into the trailer <br /> park. This building would be used as office space to interview new tenants and sell new <br /> manufactured homes to be set up in the park. He intends to sell homes that would stay in <br /> the park and not be sold and moved immediately out of the park. <br /> Motion by G. Welu and seconded by J. Thompson to approve a conditional use permit to <br /> Earl Hemmerich to operate an on-site sales and operations office in the manufactured <br /> home park (Pequot Terrace) on the property legally described as follows: South 700' of <br /> the NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 E of the Railroad ROW in Section 10, except the following <br /> described portion thereof, 1 acre bounded by lines drawn as follows: commencing 80 <br /> rods N of the SE corner of Section 10, then W 576' to a point of starting, then N 165', <br /> then W 250' ., then S 165', then 250' E to the starting point as conveyed by deed <br /> recorded in book 18 of deed, page 189, and the S 10' of that portion of the NESE of <br /> Section 10 which is described in that certain deed dated 4/14/55, and filed in the Register <br /> of Deeds, subject to reservations of record, Township 136, Range 29, zoned Multi-Family <br /> Residential, with the following conditions: <br /> 1. All setbacks and building codes must be adhered to; and <br /> 2. All new models sold in the park are to remain in the park for a period of 6 <br /> months with the exception of the owners eviction,job transfer of the <br /> owner or death in the immediate family requires the owner to relocate the <br /> home. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Terri Russell, Secretary Mark Jurchen, Chairman <br />
