MINUTES <br /> PEUOT LAKES REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> DECEMBER 19,2002 <br /> PRESENT: Bill Habein, Marty Nelson, Joe Dotty, Karl Moon, Craig Nagel and Barb <br /> Sjoblad. ABSENT: Mark Hallan, John Derksen, Cheri Sells and Tom Woog. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Charles Marohn <br /> The meeting was called to order by Craig Nagel, Commission Chairperson, at 6:36 p.m. <br /> APPLICANT: Carl and Colleen Smith. <br /> Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development <br /> (continuation). <br /> Mr. Marohn explained his Staff Report and pointed out a new site plan Mr. Smith had <br /> dropped off with Staff contained four single dwellings and two duplexes, rather than the <br /> five duplexes and one single dwelling as previously submitted. After further review of <br /> the site plan, Mr. Marohn indicated he would like to add another condition to his Staff <br /> Report: <br /> 5. Driveways on North Morehouse Drive and South Morehouse Drive to be <br /> consolidated to one access on each side. <br /> MARK HALLAN ARRIVED 6:39. <br /> Applicant was present - Carl(Corky) Smith. <br /> Mr. Smith passed out a sheet indicating the location of the Maintenance and Design <br /> Criteria required by the ordinance. In addition, he passed out a revised page of the <br /> Declaration of Covenants, page 17, 9.1, Maintenance by Association, where he had <br /> eliminated sewer/water maintenance and added lawn maintenance and trash removal. <br /> Mr. Marohn explained that long term preservation of the open areas still needed to be <br /> addressed. <br /> JOHN DERKSEN ARRIVED AT 6:50 p.m. <br /> Mr. Smith then submitted a copy of a fax from Widseth Smith Nolting explaining the <br /> storm sewer located in the Industrial Park. He also pointed out that the curb cuts are <br /> existing along Morehouse Drive. After discussing the traffic impact the driveways would <br /> have on Morehouse Drive, Mr. Marohn withdrew condition#5. <br /> Mr. Marohn also withdrew condition#3. <br />
