ABSENT: Tom Adams, Bill Habein, and Mark Hallan. <br /> COUNCIL LIAISONS: Mary Pfeiffer. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Dawn Bittner. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Tom Woog, Chairman, at 6:37 p.m. <br /> APPLICANT: Mark Schoeb. <br /> Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for Motor Vehicle Sales and <br /> Service. <br /> Applicant was present. <br /> Mr. Woog read the Staff Recommendations from the Staff Report. Mr. Schoeb <br /> indicated that there are 2 more trees on the north side of the car wash that do not <br /> appear on the certificate of survey. Brunes Street is currently a gravel based <br /> road. The City has no plans to upgrade the street. It could become a backage <br /> road during the T 371 project. <br /> A sign is indicated on the survey. Schoeb stated that it would be unlit, made of <br /> wood, similar to the Dotty Brothers sign in the Industrial Park. Bittner read the <br /> rules for a Freestanding Sign in a Commercial zone. <br /> The type of operation was discussed. It would be paint detailing, not paint work. <br /> Cleaning of carpet and upholstery and changing of oil, only on his cars. <br /> The landscaping plan was discussed. It would need to be done within one year <br /> of the tar being laid. Future signage was also discussed, possibly retaining <br /> space to move the sign along Brunes Street after the TH371 project. There <br /> would be 15 to 18 cars on site, no more than 20. <br /> The Staff Report states sales and service. The application states sales and <br /> detailing.
