Call Meeting to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair Larsen at 8:00 a.m. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes <br /> MARK JURCHEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 15,2011, EDC <br /> MINUTES. PATRICK SMITH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Review Development Potential for Downtown Industrial Park <br /> Downtown: Tommy Woog reviewed the maps that were provided for the <br /> downtown area. He explained the three different maps: <br /> • An overview of the downtown as it exists today with 84 lots <br /> • A map showing possible lot splits that could result in a total of 241 lots <br /> • A map showing the vacant lots in the downtown area <br /> Tommy Woog explained that a few years ago the Planning Commission decided <br /> that we should be able to develop at a higher density in order to maximize the <br /> water and sewer capacity. Tommy stated that there is a lot of room for the City to <br /> work with in the downtown area for development. Sewer and water capacity <br /> needs to be considered when developing land in the downtown area. <br /> Industrial Park: —Tommy explained the maps provided for the industrial park. <br /> • An overview of the industrial park as it exists today with 30 lots <br /> • A map showing the potential to eventually grow to 61 lots. <br /> • A map showing what is allowed by zoning—a potential of 105 lots <br /> Tommy Woog explained that the industrial park is built to handle the 105 lots. <br />
