JUSTIN BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> The EDC discussed an ordinance amendment prepared by Chuck Marohn. Mr. <br /> Marohn noted that the purpose of the amendment is to allow more flexibility and <br /> intense use of property zoned light industrial. <br /> It was the consensus of the EDC to recommend that the Planning Commission <br /> proceed with the ordinance amendment and that the amendment include language <br /> regarding screening. <br /> The EDC discussed how to maximize what can be done in the park without <br /> spending a lot of money. It was the recommendation of the EDC to look at <br /> alternatives for developing the two private lots for sale in the industrial park. The <br /> EDC suggested that the two vacant lots could be subdivided to possibly make <br /> them more marketable. <br /> Discussion was held regarding the possibility of leasing land for spray irrigation <br /> as a temporary solution. It was the consensus of the EDC to invite the land owner <br /> to the next EDC meeting to discuss this possibility. <br /> 4. Next Meeting <br /> The next meeting is scheduled for July 15, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. Mark Jurchen noted <br /> that he would not be present at that meeting. <br /> Ed Larsen indicated he would provide an update to the Council at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> 5.
