Pequot Lakes BUSINESS Park <br /> Promoting Community Development <br /> The Pequot Lakes Business Park was created by the Pequot Lakes City Council <br /> in 1996. Telecommunication is supplied by TDS TELECOM, electricity by <br /> Minnesota Power and natural gas by Northern States Power. The park is <br /> serviced by blacktopped roads rated for 10 tons per axle, storm sewer and <br /> municipal sewer and water. The area has direct access to Highway 371. The <br /> Pequot Lakes Industrial Park is located in the JOBZ Zone. <br /> Guidelines regarding purchasing and developing land are as follows: <br /> 1. The listing price is$30,000/Acre. <br /> 2. Businesses must create jobs that will be located in the Business Park. <br /> 3. Business shall be of a nature to enhance the value of the Business Park and the community. <br /> 4. Business must start site preparation and construction within one year of acquiring property. <br /> Extensions may be granted by the City Council. <br /> 5. There is a municipal sewer connection fee to be paid by the purchaser at a current rate of <br /> $7,800.00,per unit. <br /> 6. There is a municipal water connection fee to be paid by the purchaser at a current rate of <br /> $2,130.00,per unit. <br /> 7. There is a water meter fee to be paid by the purchaser at a rate to be determined by the <br /> Water/Wastewater Superintendent. <br /> 8. Building permit fees are based on square footage of the building and will be paid for by <br /> purchaser. <br /> 9. Closing costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. <br /> 10. It will be the responsibility of each Business Park property owner to maintain and landscape <br /> their property in accordance with the regulations established in the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> *Contact the City Clerk's Office at 218-568-5222 for specific costs on connection fees, deposits,permits <br /> and zoning information. <br /> 1 <br />
