COMMUNITYGROWTH <br /> I N S T I T U T E <br /> April 8, 2005 <br /> Albert and Joyce Jewell <br /> 1430018 1h Avenue North <br /> Plymouth, MN 55447 <br /> RE: Application for a Metes and Bounds Subdivision <br /> City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Dear Mr. and Ms. Jewell, <br /> This letter is to correct an error in the previous letter we sent informing you that the City of <br /> Pequot Lakes has received your application for the Metes and Bounds Subdivision of your <br /> property located on Hurtig Road. <br /> The previous letter had incorrectly indicated that for a metes and bounds subdivision, the <br /> Commission holds a hearing to review your application and then makes a recommendation to the <br /> City Council. A public hearing is not held, but instead your application will be reviewed without <br /> public comment at the upcoming Planning Commission meeting. In addition, the Planning <br /> Commission makes the final decision on a metes and bounds subdivision application, without the <br /> need for City Council approval. I apologize for the error and any confusion that it may have <br /> resulted. <br /> Again, if you would like a copy of the report for your hearing, there will be one available at City <br /> Hall for you to review one week prior to the meeting or you can read it online at <br /> www.communitygrowth.com/pequot lakes/.
