Zoning Administrator's Report A. February Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: There were no permits issued in February. B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following letters of correspondence since the last meeting: 1. January 31 letter to the Department of Natural Resources regarding debris along the Paul Bunyan Trail. 2. February 7 letter to David Swenson regarding the pontoon remaining on his property on Gravdahl Drive. 3. February 7 letter to John Derksen thanking him for removing the two inoperable vehicles. 4. February 8 letter to Roger Langenbau thanking him for his efforts to remedy the debris situation along the Paul Bunyan Trail. 5. February 10 letter to Larry Lien regarding debris and abandoned vehicles. 6. February 25 letter from Larry(Tony)Fyle giving permission for park model to remain until Mr. Wimperis' home sells. _ 7. February 28 Memo from City Engineer(WSN). 8. March 1 Memo to Tom Ryan regarding the Don Babinski project. 9. March 1 letter to Jon Nornberg regarding an off-site sign. 10. March 1 letter to Larry Lien regarding agreement to remedy potential violation. _ C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. 1. David Swenson: Mr. Swenson has removed all abandoned vehicles except the pontoon and a grader. He did not respond by March 1 to letter regarding pontoon. (10/02) 2. John E. MacGibbon: Mr. MacGibbon died a few weeks ago. 3. Cathi McBryde: This matter is being turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney, Matt Mallie. Staff has prepared a timeline for Mr. Mallie.
