Zoning Administrator's Report A. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. Turn Key Construction, Lot 11, Block 1, Branches, a new home with attached garage. 2. James and Kelli Levenske, 28337 County Road 107, second story addition. B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following letters of correspondence since the last meeting: 1. January 12 letter to David and Jean Buck reminding them to submit their sketch plan. 2. January 12 letter to Mr. and Mrs. Justin Bolz-Andolshek regarding their Conditional Use Permit. 3. January 31 letter to the DNR regarding debris along the Paul Bunyan Trail. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. 1. David Swenson: Mr. Swenson has removed all abandoned vehicles except the pontoon and a grader. (10/02) 2. John E. MacGibbon: Mr. MacGibbon died a few weeks ago. We are going to wait and see how the ownership situation, which has been the key issue for this property, resolves itself. 3. Cathi McBryde: This matter is being turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney, Matt Mallie. Staff has prepared a timeline for Mr. Mallie. (Inherited from Sibley Township) 4. Lance Schmidt: The renter is moving and staff will monitor exterior cleanup. 5. Babinski—Mr. Marohn met with the City Attorney,Tom Fitzpatrick, on November 19 and Mr. Fitzpatrick is working on this. 6. Roger Rudbeck—The City Council has agreed to forward this matter to the City Attorney to secure a lien on the illegally constructed dwellings. February Staff Report Page 26
