SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2004 <br /> PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Mayor C. Malecha, Council Members Johnson, Bolz- <br /> Andolshek, Sjoblad, Akerson, Pfeiffer, and Ryan <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Staff Present: Mark Forsberg, Chief of Police; Brett Twardy, <br /> Water/Wastewater Superintendent; Nancy Rudbeck; Deputy <br /> City Clerk; and Sandra Peine, City Clerk <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Malecha called the special meeting of the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Council to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 1.1 Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Malecha led with the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> THE AGENDA WAS APPROVED. <br /> 3. Consider Payment of Bills <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF <br /> THE BILLS. COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. Review 2004 Year End Budget <br /> The Deputy City Clerk reviewed the status of the 2004 budget with the <br /> Council. She explained that the spreadsheet she presented to the Council <br /> does not give an accurate picture because the year-end bills and last <br /> payroll were not reflected and the City still has approximately $100,000 <br /> coming in from LGA, tax levy settlements and market value credits. <br /> 5. Consider Adoption of 2005 Budgets <br /> The City Clerk presented the 2005 Budgets. She indicated that no <br /> changes have been made since the Truth and Taxation Hearing. <br />
