City Council Minutes <br /> October 5, 2004 <br /> Page 5 <br /> ------------------------------ <br /> TO THE ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 2ND AND THE INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> ASSESSMENT HEARING AT 6:00 ON NOVEMBER 9T". COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7- <br /> 0. <br /> 10.2. Review Chamber Building Lease <br /> The Clerk reviewed the draft lease between the City and Chamber of <br /> Commerce for the Trailside Chamber Building. The Council concurred that <br /> the City should be notified at least 30 days in advance of any building <br /> construction/renovation activities and that the lease should be <br /> renegotiated when the building is paid for. Other concerns of the Council <br /> included the following: <br /> • Outside lighting —who is responsible for which lights <br /> • Bobber water tower—who is responsible for maintaining, including <br /> the lighting of the tower <br /> • Lease for Smokey Hollow Fish Company—who is responsible for <br /> the taxes <br /> • Increasing the late charge for building payments by adding a <br /> percent per month <br /> • The Gazebo —Who maintains the Gazebo <br /> The Clerk indicated she would be meeting with the Chamber and would <br /> bring back the comments to the Council. <br /> 10.3. Designation of Wilderness Road as a Rustic Road <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 04- <br /> 26 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING WILDERNESS ROAD AS A <br /> RUSTIC ROAD. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.4. Consider Audit Proposals <br /> The Clerk noted that this item would be presented at a future Council <br /> meeting. <br /> 10.5. Thanksgiving Holiday <br /> The Clerk discussed the possibility of allowing employees to have the day <br /> after Thanksgiving off while using either vacation or comp time. The <br /> Council requested the Clerk to bring the issue back at the next meeting if it <br />
