If the employee <br /> Chooses not to carry the Insurance, they are paid the single <br /> Rate of$522.00, which goes into a deferred compensation <br /> Plan. <br /> City Council members do not receive any benefit for <br /> \.. insurance. <br /> NISSWA: They recently changed from a percentage basis to a flat rate. <br /> Their carrier is Medica. They pay up to $750.00 for Family <br /> coverage and $275.00 for individual coverage. If someone <br /> chooses not to carry the Insurance, they receive $275.00, <br /> which goes into a deferred Compensation plan. <br /> City Council members do not receive any benefit for <br /> insurance. <br /> LAKESHORE: They currently have Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage. They <br /> Pay for full Family coverage as well as a full single rate. If <br /> you choose to not carry the Insurance you are paid nothing. <br /> (They only have 4 employees.) <br /> City Council members do not receive any benefit for <br /> insurance. <br /> CROSSLAKE: They currently have Medica Insurance. They have 19 <br /> employees and they are Union. Their Department Heads <br /> Have full Family and Individual coverage. All remaining <br /> Employees are paid 85% of their coverage.
