�a Id o F Mn/DOT to Hold Open House to Provide Opportunity to Review Latest Plans for the ofi ra0 F Highway 371 North Improvement Project lln_' As part of the ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for public input on the Highway 371 North Improvement Project, Mn/DOT has set an open house for June 24. Maps illustrating the latest updates to the proposed highway improvements, extending from Nisswa to Pine River, will be available for review. Mn/DOT, along with their consultant, SEH, will be on-hand to assist and address any questions or comments. Comment cards will also be provided for attendees to submit written statements. There will be no formal presentations. The open house will be held as follows: Date: Thursday June 24, 2004 Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Location: Pequot Lakes High School The open house is being conducted in conjunction with the Final EIS process. The purpose of the Final EIS is to present the preferred alternative for improving Highway 371 between Nisswa and Pine River, detail the mitigation commitments required to address the project impacts, and document responses to comments received on the Draft EIS published in December 2003. Mn/DOT is anticipating the Final EIS will be completed before the end of 2004. Thank you in advance for your participation in this important project.
