Our current rate of pay for retirement is $1800.00 per year of service. Greer has been talking to Mick <br /> Justins office and at $1800/year we have a surplus of$16,000.00, at $2000/year we have a surplus <br /> of$6000.00 and so on, as the yearly rate goes up the surplus goes down and turns into a deficit for -� <br /> the city. <br /> The state auditors office set the maximum we can receive @ $2500.00 per year. *See letter <br /> attached explaining this. <br /> Casanova motion to go to $2100.00 or wherever we are solvent with no deficit to the city. Casanova <br /> withdrew the motion. Schmidt motioned to go to $2500 per year (state maximum), Oaks seconded <br /> the motion - motion passed unanimously. <br /> Election of officers: <br /> Casanova motioned the officers remain the same as last year. Nelson would like to step down as <br /> secretaryttreasurer and nominated Kirk Larsen. <br /> Greer was reelected as president- unanimous vote. <br /> Peterson II was reelected as vice president- unanimous vote. <br /> Kirk Larsen was elected as secretary/treasurer- unanimous vote. <br /> Oaks motioned the trustees stay the same, seconded by Schmidt, motion passed. <br /> Trustees: <br /> Dan Loven, Jeremie Bridge, Daren Nordby, Bill Rickard <br /> Greer also mentioned we have a CD maturing in April and we should stay with Lakes State Bank <br /> since they have the highest interest rate.
