UPDATE: Thirty Lakes Watershed District
Request not to join the Thirty Lakes Watershed District.
Reasons:
1. We are not sure who is on board at this time. We believe that Crosslake,
Breezy Point, and Nisswa are considering starting their own separate
districts.
2. If the city joins the watershed district, each plot developed within the city
limits will have to pay a $25/year fee. Even if they are on the central sewer
system within the city limits.
3. Monitoring is already being done by the city. Also, the Lakes Association is
very involved. RE: East Twin and Sibley Lake work with the City to have
thorough records.
