Presentation by Paul Bunyan Scenic Bvwav Association <br /> A presentation was made by representatives of the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway <br /> Association. It was noted that one of the projects under consideration consisted <br /> of paving the shoulders on C.R. 11 from Pequot Lakes to Breezy Point. A local <br /> match of funds is required which will entail approximately $40,000 - $50,000. The <br /> Mayor indicated that although this was an important project for the community, <br /> the City did not budget for the project in 2004. It was suggested that a committee <br /> be formed to see if funding could be acquired for the project. <br /> 5.1. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPOINT TOM ADAMS TO THE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FOR A THREE YEAR TERM FROM <br /> 1/6/04 TO 3112107. COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad suggested that the City Council consider requiring <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission members to be residents of the city.
