happens again. We could do this late at night to avoid inconveniencing
- anyone. We do apologize to all of our water customers for this mishap and
we will do our best to prevent it from ever happening again. Our thoughts
for preventing this include installing a thermometer/thermostat connected
with some sort of an alarm system. If we put this in the boxed area of the
recirculating pump, whenever the heater stops working, there could be an
alarm sent to the water plant that will call us up and notify us of the problem.
That way we can fix it right away, before anything can freeze and break. We
will contact Dan Swenson with Automatic Control Systems to see about
getting this accomplished. We will also check with People's Security
Systems and see what they would charge to install this monitoring system.
Our decision will be based on cost efficiency as well as design.
Written By: Tina Harrington
1-26-04
