Malecha, Council Members Johnson, Bolz- <br /> Andolshek, Sjoblad, Akerson, Pfeiffer, and Ryan <br /> i <br /> Staff Present: Mark Forsberg, Chief of Police; Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator; <br /> Sandra Peine, City Clerk; Tim Houle, City Engineer, Tina <br /> Harrington, Water/Wastewater Operator, Tom Nelson, Fire Chief; <br /> and Mike Loven; Street Superintendent <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Malecha called the special meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to <br /> order at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2004. <br /> 1.1. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Malecha led with the Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> `-' The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> 6.5. Request by Zoning Administrator to attend National Conference <br /> 13.1. Request by Council Member Akerson to attend conference <br /> 13.2. Discussion on Widening of C.R. #11 <br /> THE AGENDA WAS APPROVED AS AMENDED. <br /> 3.1. Public Hearing on Highway 371 <br /> Mayor Malecha opened the public hearing for comments on the Highway 371 <br /> project. <br /> Bernice Rohde — Lakes State Bank— Ms. Rohde read comments she had <br /> received from other people at Lakes State Bank. The comments read were in <br /> favor of the through-town option. Ms. Rohde indicated she was also in favor of <br /> the through-town option. <br /> Linda Ulland — Ideal Township, works in Peguot Lakes and Breezy Point as <br /> an Environmental Consultant— Ms. Ulland indicated she preferred alternative <br /> #2, the existing alignment. <br />
