MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> FROM: SANDY PEINE <br /> DATE: DECEMBER 14, 2005 <br /> SUBJECT: SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> \.. I realize that the Council adopted the final levy and budget at its <br /> regular December meeting. However, according to state law, the levy <br /> and budget cannot be adopted until at least one day after the truth and <br /> taxation hearing. We held our TNT hearing on December 6th at our <br /> regular Council meeting. Therefore, we should not have adopted the <br /> final levy and budget at that meeting. <br /> My mistake. However, since we needed an extra meeting, we are adding <br /> Wilderness Point Final plat to the agenda as they have requested to be <br /> heard before the end of the year if possible. We will also be submitting <br /> end of year bills for payment. <br /> Please call me if you have any questions regarding this meeting. <br /> Thank You. <br />
