CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 05-15 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LIBRARY FOR 2005 <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept contributions of real <br /> and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 for the <br /> benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts and bequests for <br /> the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered the following contributions to the <br /> Library in 2005 (see attached list). <br /> WHEREAS,The City Council hereby finds that it is appropriate to accept the contributions <br /> offered. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES,MINNESOTA, that the contributions described above are hereby graciously accepted <br /> by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used for the purposes stated in the attached list of <br /> donations. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Council expresses it gratitude to the donors of <br /> the gifts. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 6th day of December, 2005. <br /> Cathy Malecha, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra Peine, City Clerk <br />
