City Council Minutes <br /> December 6, 2005 <br /> Page 5 <br /> ---------------------------------- <br /> 7.3. State Building Code <br /> Tom Adams, Planning Commissioner indicated that the Planning <br /> Commission has recommended that the Council not adopt the state <br /> building code. It was the consensus of the Council to accept the Planning <br /> Commission's recommendation at this time and to possibly review the <br /> matter in the future. <br /> 7.4. Extractive Use Moratorium <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO DIRECT THE CITY <br /> ATTORNEY TO REVIEW THE PROCEDURE FOR A MORATORIUM <br /> AND TO BEGIN THE PROCEDURE FOR A MORATORIUM FOR <br /> EXTRACTIVE USES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 8. Fire Chief Report <br /> Report given by Chief Tom Nelson. Chief Nelson invited all Council <br /> Members to the monthly meetings. <br /> 9. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br /> Report given by Brett Twardy. Brett requested to carry over an additional <br /> 80 hours of vacation until January 21, 2006. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ALLOW BRETT TWARDY TO <br /> CARRY OVER AN ADDITIONAL 80 HOURS OF VACATION TIME <br /> UNTIL JANUARY 21, 2006. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 9.1. Yearly Goals <br /> Brett reviewed the yearly goals. He indicated he will be working on <br /> mapping future water/sewer extensions. The Council suggested that Brett <br /> work with the Planning Commission on this project. <br /> 11. Clerk's Monthly Report <br /> Report presented by the Clerk. <br /> 11.1. Travel Policy <br />
