The Council felt there is a need for a
transportation plan in the City prior to moving forward with the road. The
Council felt that a joint meeting with the Planning Commission should be
held at some time to develop a transportation plan.
Council Member Bolz-Andolshek indicated he was dissatisfied with the
public attendance at the downtown improvement meetings. It was noted
that all downtown business owners have been notified of the meetings.
Council Member Bolz-Andolshek indicated that there is a petition
circulating against the Anderson Brothers proposed gravel pit.
Council Member Bolz-Andolshek questioned why the Council has not
heard any thing from the Planning Commission regarding the City
adopting the State Building Code. He noted that on May 17th the Council
made the following recommendation:
"There was a general consensus of the Council to move forward with the
adoption of the State Building Code. The City Council requested a
recommendation from the Planning Commission."
Council Member Bolz-Andolshek indicated he would like to know where
the Planning Commission is regarding this issue.
